Bibliomania – Sachsen Anhalts Künstlerbücher

On 12 June 2026, the exhibition Bibliomania – Saxony-Anhalt’s Artist’s Books was opened in Köthen. Running until 9 August 2026, it showcases highlights from the collection, which are normally held in the repository of the Anhaltischen Landesbücherei Dessau. These include the glass book Licht.Lettern. by Johanna Bartl and Stephanie Bryschs’s Gartenreich Dessau-Wörlitz, a modified ‘Lustiges Taschenbuch’ comic book. Also on display are works from the Book Art degree programme at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle. On 19 June 2026, a talk with the Book Art students and their professor, Sabine Golde, will be held in the Köthen Castle Chapel at 5:30 p.m. to accompany the exhibition. Admission is free.
